Responsible for annual review and approval of the Town Budget and other municipal finance concerns, including the Capital Plan and free cash appropriations

Responsible for determining  changes to local bylaws, including zoning ordinances and zoning map.

Public Works
Considers and reports on DPW operations and programs, including street and sidewalk paving, snowplowing, trash & recycling, water & sewer.

Braintree Community Partnership
2023-Present
Liaison between the Council and the Community Partnership to raise awareness on efforts to prevent youth drug and alcohol use and to connect individuals struggling with substance use disorders to resources and support.

Master Plan Steering Committee
2020 - 2024
Worked with the consultant (JM Goldson) to develop an Existing Conditions Report, gather resident input on community aspirations and craft language for a plan to guide Braintree’s path to achieve a shared vision of where we want to be in ten years.

Fore River Residents Against the Compressor Station (FRACCS)
2020 - 2022
Served as Council liaison to FRACCS. Filed as an intervenor with FERC to advocate against the Enbridge gas pipeline. Authored a brief to contribute to the proceedings.

Developed a variety of materials and countless instructional and assessment strategies to help students of all academic levels master the World Civilizations curriculum.

2017 - Present
Advocate for better environmental policy and more sustainable practices across town
Coordinated an invasive weed removal event at Pond Meadow Park
Successfully advocated for Mayor Joyce to support butterfly and pollinator habitat by committing to signing the Mayor’s Monarch Pledge.

Moms Demand Action

Successfully advocated for Braintree to formally recognize National Wear Orange Weekend in support of better gun sense legislation.
